ALEXANDROV & PARTNERS apply to nonstandard legal mechanisms for the defense of Clients’ interests

In June 2010 ALEXANDROV & PARTNERS International Law Firm successfully finalized the project connected with the defense of the Client’s rights to the contentious premises in Kiev region which were bought out from community property and as of today are valued at UAH 5 000 000. A controversy arose as the result of double sale of the mentioned real estate unit and registration of title to the property by different entities.

During juridical proceedings at the court of appeal the parties to the suit agreed to settle the dispute amicably.

In the course of the project realization Associate Partner of the Company Dmitriy Slobodyan headed the group of lawyers consisting of associates Oksana Kryzhanivska and Anna Karpeyeva who worked out nonstandard legal mechanisms for the defense of Client’s interests. In accordance with the Agreement on Dispute Resolution which was signed between the parties specialists of ALEXANDROV & PARTNERS obtained and successfully enforced the court decision on the affected party’s damages recover by the bodies of local self-government. Subsequently the pecuniary demand of the whole amount of losses was sold to the company having counter monetary obligations to the local council. In the view of the Claim Assignment Agreement signing the recoverer at execution proceedings has been changed and debt liabilities have been terminated by way of set-off of counter pecuniary demands.
