ALEXANDROV & PARTNERS have finalized M&A transaction connected with purchase of sugar plant’s corporate rights

In June 2010 lawyers of ALEXANDROV & PARTNERS International Law Firm successfully finalized M&A project connected with the purchase by the Client of corporate rights (50 %) of a large-scale sugar plant situated in Khmelnytsk region. General investment amount of the parties to the transaction constituted UAH 7 mln.

Sugar plant as the object of the investment is the integral property complex providing for the complete technological processing of sugar beet, raw sugar, sugar cane and accordingly for white sugar production and processing of production after-products. Enterprise’s full-time personal is hired and completely formed.

In the course of the transaction led by the company’s Partner, Ruslana Muzychko, Associate Partner Dmitriy Slobodyan and Senior Associate Yevgeniy Ilarionov applied to nonstandard legal mechanisms aimed at securing of guarantees of corporate rights’ purchase by the Client, achieving parity in organization and management of join business, implementation of the efficient mechanism of control over enterprise’s financial and economic activities.
