ALEXANDROV&PARTNERS lawyers represented their Client, a Ukrainian state bank, in the Supreme Court (Commercial Court of Cassation) in a number of bankruptcy cases. Debtors in these cases tried to complete the liquidation procedure, having committed a number of violations of the law, as well as to terminate their operations and leave almost all creditors’ claims unpaid.

The Supreme Court upheld the Client’s position and dismissed the arguments set out in the liquidator’s cassation appeals. The judgement rendered in favour of the Client was upheld by the Supreme Court.
