ALEXANDROV&PARTNERS was approached by a Client who was interested in renting (and further become the owner of ) a mansard in residential building located in the historical centre of Kyiv. At the same time, the Client asked whether it would be possible to reconstruct the mansard and carry out capital repairs in it. It also asked about the procedure for obtaining permits for such construction work.

Our lawyer prepared a comprehensive legal opinion in which she elaborated possible options for renting and privatising the mansard in a residential building depending on the form of ownership. In addition, the Client was provided with a clear algorithm of actions necessary to lease and privatise the real estate. Along with that, Julia analysed the possibility of carrying out construction work in the mansard and described the procedure for obtaining permits for such work.
